April 22, 2018, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ Bagg-Pierce Wildlife Sanctuary and Popp Conservation Area
The approximately 90-minute trek will cover about 3.25 miles and includes walking to/from the Wildlife Sanctuary and McCray’s dirt field road. The Bagg-Pierce paths are relatively flat with only a few minor ascents and descents, and are heavily lined with leaves. Be prepared for wet conditions and tree debris left over from winter.
IMPORTANT: Meet at 12:45 pm in the lower parking lot at McCray’s Farm (where the mini-golf area is) at 55 Alvord Street. Wear weather-appropriate clothing, safe footwear, and bring water and optional snacks.
Post-trek, please join BWC members at McCray’s for refreshments and socializing!
Non-enjoyable or hazardous inclement weather/conditions will force a cancellation.
